The phrase, “There’s an app for that.” sums it up. The apps determine what the iPad will do. They are very important. Just the apps that came with the device will open a world of new things to do. But, if you need additional information, think about what information would be useful, research the apps you need and get them from the App Store. Most are free.

Thank you. My 91 year old grandmother wants to learn so badly and she’s very smart. It’s just when people try to teach her they don’t get the fact that she is starting from zero and has absolutely no tech experience at all. So they don’t even start at a level where she can understand. You are the only person I’ve seen who understands this. Thank you. At least I’m a little closer to finding a way for her to finally learn. I was even going to pay a teacher to come to her home (she’s not very ambulatory) but there is no one who does that. I welcome any of your suggestions.
